Plaids have a long history, and with so many different variations, they are a timeless classic! Whether as a statement piece or just an accessory, plaids, not just as fabric by the meter, always work and make every outfit look modern and stylish.
Frau_Poorthuis once again fascinates us with a beautiful blouse made from our gingham plaid in khaki/white and the Delano pattern by Ose Pattern.
Miss_elbneedle sewed a great blouse from our gingham plaid in the color combination blue/white and the "Norma" pattern from Fibremood.

Also styled_by_gloria loved our gingham plaid in a fresh summer blue/white combination so much that she sewed a maxi dress with a ruffled hem using McCalls pattern M7969.
Everyseamittakes created a romantic red small-checked summer dress from the ORCHARDS DRESS pattern by Vivian Shao Chen. The sleeves are from the ANTHEA blouse by Anna Allen Clothing - we think the combination is simply WONDERFUL!
Steffi sewed a great wrap dress from our gingham plaid in turquoise/olive! The pattern for it is Burda 6664.
The tunic blouse made from our buffalo plaid in the color grey/sage and the Long Sleeve Tunic pattern by The Assembly Line, which Schnittversteherin sewed, is an absolute eye-catcher!
Frau_Maerz shows us with her holiday photo the perfect area of application for our new collection! The airy, light cotton-linen plaids are perfect for hot days by the sea. With the free pattern Boho Rock Steffi from Textilhemmers and our plaid, nothing stands in the way of a day at the beach!
Adinskausminsk enchanted us with her sophisticated two-piece consisting of a skirt and a top! The top is the Hysope pattern from deer_and_doe_patterns and the skirt is a free tutorial from the.polka.dot.palace and is called Flat Front Skirt
The lovely aggiedz also chose our buffalo in the berry/lilac color combination and sewed herself a super cool blouse! From the front, the blouse looks very classic, but the back has a real eye-catcher – check it out on her page and see for yourself!
Angechria_nahtplusultra sewed a matching partner outfit. This consists of this great dress with a rounded hem and a men's shirt. For the dress, she chose the Fringedress pattern from chalk and notch, and the pattern for the shirt is Fairfieldbuttonup from threadtheorydesigns.
Leniundlivi also chose the AIX DRESS pattern by treizecoquelicotapatterns, fitting the summery plaid fabric, for a dress pattern in the trendy ruffle style!
Steffi not only loved our gingham plaid but was also so enthusiastic about the buffalo plaid in olive/vanilla that she took her favorite blouse pattern Svenja from Schnittmuster Berlin and once again created a dream blouse from it! Did you know that this fabric is a small movie star? It was produced during the filming of our image film and is, so to speak, the main act. If you're curious, you can watch it here and order our fabrics directly from our online shop!
As you can see, the uses for our eight summery cotton-linen plaids are limitless! No matter which pattern - whether as a blouse, skirt, or dress - you will look simply fabulous and mega fashionable in all your sewing projects made from our high-quality and sustainable fabrics!
Greetings from your favorite weaving mill!
